The Transfiguration
The most important costumes in the film are those worn by British actor Brian Deacon, who plays the part of Christ. Deacon is clothed in an off-white tunic and mantle for most of the film, but, after the Transfiguration, he appears in a pure white robe. "It is the same sort of thing as the Greek philosophers wore," stated costume designer Rochelle Zaltzman. |
