Filming for the cities visited by Jesus was done in tiny Arab townships on the west bank of the River Jordan. In many places this meant the dismantling of TV aerials, telegraph poles and wires from above buildings. Once these 20th century articles were removed these present day areas look exactly the same as those seen by Jesus 2,000 years ago.
